Hey guys,
Through out this trip like I have said before I wanted to sponsor a child but we have been to so many and i wanted to pray about it. yesterday i got an affirmation from God that i needed to sponsor a child from Bethesha in Ahero, Kenya. She is 8 years old and I will not give out any other detail but she is beautiful girl. The day before when I went and shopped for family and friendsa nd my self I found a little doll and a necklace and i gave that to her. Today, I was able to meet her grandmother and her mother. Their house is falling apart I witnessed today and they have recieving no income. Here in Africa unemployment and Welfare doesn't exisist. Im sorry about my spelling and my errors the computers are not the greatest so it is hard for me to type. I got pictures with the little girl and contributed 2,000 kshl. Divide that by 75 and that is the total in USD. It is not much really but 2,000 kshl is ALOT here in Kenya. They live for 1,000 or lower maybe for weeks. I also was able to expereince lastnight and having dinner by Lake Victoria right by the water we saw the sunset it was GORGEOUS! Oh my it was amazing yes I got AWESOME spectular pictures. Today, we went and met the child's family and then we got to hike up a Shrine called Kit-Mayla. It is a HUGE rock that people here think is holy and they prayer around it and such. He hiked it and got to look over 1,000 and 1,000 of miles across the beautiful land of Kisumu. Big day! I am very tired and it was nice to sign the papers today for my little child. She was cute and I treated her as if she were mine. It was nice but hard to let go.. I told her we will write and send her whatever she needs. I do know that she needs a matress, clothes, and school supply. Anything for her would be fine. Corey we have a kid (lol) Dr. J is giving me a hard time saying that we have a kid before him. I just hit him! But it is neat that we have a child that we are helping over in Africa on a serious note. I do not want to be a mommy not just yet. I would like to be your wife first lol. Love you Corey!
Love you everyone! I miss you all so much! Still a little homesick but I am making it through slowly.. each day it different and just learning and taking it all in as I go.
Be blessed cause we are blessed,
Jessica

Hey Jess! It is absolutely wonderful to hear that you are having such a magnificent experience while you're in Africa. Just reading about your trip has been such an immense blessing to me. I miss you so much and pray for you everyday! But I have faith that God is taking care of you and will bring you back home safely when the time comes. I love you girl!!!
Your buddy, Cait
Hey Jess I am so glad that you are having a great time and that you got to share your testimony. I hope that you have a great day!!! Love ya girl!!
Cheris!!
I’m anxious to hear more about our little girl. Im sure Dr.J knows the legitimacy of the sponsorship, has in how the money will be used to help her directly. I have tried to call for the past two days & I keep getting a recording that says due to suspected fraudulent calls this number is not working PI-005. I have called the operator & they get the same thing. Love Mom
Will keep trying to call. Lake Victoria sounded awesome. Your dad sends his love. He was hear when I tried to call but we coundnt get through.
Trusting in Him
love mom
