Elephants, Baboons, Tribal Dances Oh My!

Hey Everyone!

I get to blog again today yes! I am very excited to recieve everyone's comments. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will NOT use Facebook while I am here because internet cost and my money is going strictly for my blog so check this and write me on here! Cait and Core let facebookers know :o) if they want to talk to me. Let Jayne know and Cheris.

Okay right now it is 8:43 am. This morning I had my 3rd day of cold shower and I love it because I am getting really good at taking cold showers. (Caitlin, haha cold showers are fun! It reminds me the time you took cold shower in the village!) Lastnight I slept AWESOME!!!!!!! The best night ever! I slept when we got back from the Kenya Traditional Bomas from 4:30pm and did not wake up or move until 11:00 than when back to sleep at 11:30 woke up bright eyed at 6:45am! It was amazing! I am well rested and trying to get my body adjusted to Kenya time. Staring at the ceiling for three hours and being hungry at 3:00am-6:30am got real old. We had a BIG day yesterday. We went to the Kenya Traditonal Bomas and saw a tribal dance had late lunch, and took a tour of all the different traditional huts. Corey, can we live in a hut it is big enough for me! hehe. Any way during the tribal dance show they put on for us one of the ladies invited me to join in. I sure did not sit down, I shook it down with them! Daddy, I am going to have to show you the dance that I learned and we can do it for the wedding! It was fun. Mom, Diana tape recorded me dancing with them and got pictures :o) Their customs were beautiful and they were about my age. I can never real tell because here they seem like they never age their skin is so beautiful here! I saw an 8 pack for the first time yesterday these guys are sure ripped over here sorry Core. Ne way, I have had my favorite meal so far and I really liked our lunch that we had yesterday. I had Chicken Dhani and it was WONDERFUL! I also had Chapti and it is like a tortilla and I scarfed it down! Everything is served off the menu even fastfood. It poured down raining while we were eatting outside under the gazebos. Before we went to the traditional site we went to an Elephant Orphanage Rescue site. It was spectular! I got to look over Niarobi (it was breath taking few). The Elephants were rescued from their prey and Pochers. They were so cute! And we got to see a little Rino named Marley! Then we got to see a BIG Marley! LOL I have taking SO MANY PICTURES! Some look like they could be in a magazine or something you would see on the National Geographic channel.
Moving on, BABOONS run around here like they own the place! I got to see my first wild baboons yesterday (it was only 20 feet away) he just looked at me and shook it butt at us! He digged around in the litter box (what they call the trashcans here) and then on the way back home to ACK Guest House we got to see a herd of Baboons everywhere. Cattle stream allong the sides of the roads like they own the place too. It is so beautiful here; I wish everyone could see this beautiful place!
I have to get ready to go back because I have a two hour meeting at 10:00 for what we are getting ready to do in Kisumu. We fly out at 3:00 and it will only be 50 minute flight. When I arrive there I will blog more and tell you what is going on! Until then you will have to check the website for more fun news! Good to hear from you all! Miss you and I love you hugs all around!
Much love,

Jessica

PS. DAD! The bug replent that we bought is pretty much amazing! I love it and it def works! I have no bug bights and some of the girls here have lots! hehe yay for GANDER MOUNTAIN!
Dyl, the people here drive worse than you do! West Palm does not compare to Niarobi driving!
Love you! Honey (Core), how are you doing? You miss me yet I miss you lots! Can't wait to here back from everyone!
